Boys and girls from various Breakthrough activities are nominated by their respective social workers based on their satisfactory performance and improvement over the previous year to take part in 8-day Outward Bound Courses. The courses are run by Hong Kong Outward Bound School in Sai Kung and include hiking, kayaking, camping and lots of team building exercises where they build up personal confidence and interpersonal skills. At the closing ceremony on the last day of the course, parents and family members came to share their joy and adventurous stories.
