Rugby Weekly update
Unfortunately the wet weather put paid to our games last week. One unfortunate consequence of having one of the few remaining grass pitches in town is that a few days of rain can lead to a waterlogged pitch. We are trying to re-arrange the games and hopefully we can fit them in after CNY. This week we are hoping we are not snowed off, which would be a first for HK. But if you do come and watch make sure you wrap up well.
This week we have three games on Sunday (17 Jan) for you to choose from:
· The U19 girls are in action at KGV from 10.15 to 12.45. The matches involve the Regional teams, o we will not be playing as Breakthrough Pandas but a few of the girls are involved.
· At midday we have the U19 1stXV playing Tigers at Kings Park, which should be a great game to watch.
· Finally at 16.45hrs at Tin Shiu Wai we have the U16s v East Kowloon.
Thanks to everyone who donated some money for tickets for the Racing v Highlanders game on 6 February. 42 of the boys and girls will be attending due to everyone’s’generosity.
Also we are just finalising our Easter tour and we hope to take about 28 lads and 3 or 4 of the coaches to Bangkok between 23 and 27 March 2016, where we have two games arranged. On the Saturday we will be playing Nak Suu Tigers, a group who like us are using rugby to help kids at risk - http://www.naksuurugby.org/
