Operation Breakthrough reach out to Hong Kong ethnic minority
Over the last 6 weeks, Operation Breakthrough has worked with The Integrated Brilliant Education Trust (IBET), a charity which provide support for ethnic minority children from low-income families.
While IBET is a charity that provides highly subsidized and critically needed educational support, with special emphasis on Chinese language learning, to Hong Kong’s underprivileged ethnic minority students. Having partnership with Operation Breakthrough, we would like to show them more opportunities outside academic area.
Children aged 7-13 were introduced to rugby for the first time in PSRC for last 6 Sunday mornings. Head coach of Operation Breakthrough rugby Stuart Gunn said “Some of them showing really good potential, they all listened to coaches, picking up rugby very well. They are very welcome to join our summer course which is held throughout June and July. Myself and all the coaches are looking forward to seeing them.“
